If it's controlled, Entrepreneurs:

Have you ever heard of the phrase "Find a focal point!"? If you haven't, then welcome to a better method of concentration. Being unorganized at work can lead to operational error, functional discrepancies, financial loss, low customer retention, a disorderly work atmosphere, etc. Sometimes it's insufficient for people to rely on personal happiness or the work task at hand in order to remain organized at work. It's very easy to become scatter-brained or overwhelmed by the pressures and dynamics of the workplace. Those who think with a trivial, naïve mindset believe that controlled chaos is feasible and manageable within the work environment. WRONG! Chaos is chaos; and the solution to chaos is order (among many other things). That's not good for business. When it's not your company, your employees, your customers, or your tools and resources, you CANNOT impose your personal survival habits on another person's company. Find a key motivator to keep you focused, whether it be creating lists, maintaining a daily planner, having an accountability partner, etc. It really works! Try it. ..If not, then start your own company where your rules and ways govern the nature of the business. Share some ideas with us on how you've been able to organize in the workplace! If you're facing roadblocks with organization, let us know in the comments below; and we'll be glad to give you more result-driven suggestions! (Originally posted on PDG blog 5.3.16)

Let's focus. Time for a bit of transparency and acceptance of the current situation. Break the ice on being stuck or feeling left behind or stagnated. Have you truly analyzed yourself? Have you weighed your pros and cons? Have you utilized ALL of your resources? Have you been able to acquire new ones? If you haven't been asking yourself questions of the sort, then maybe you've wasted time being upset or dissatisfied with your current place in life. And that's okay! What's not okay is allowing yourself to remain glued to toxicity and discomfort. What you need most, in order to get to where you need to be, is YOU! (Everything about you. ..) Whether it's your faith, your upbringing, your support system, your morals/values, etc. that get you from point A to point B, you can't rely on any of it if you don't have yourself together first- the wherewithal to put forth the effort to make things work. This doesn't always come naturally when we're faced with adversity, especially repeated or long-lasting adversity. However, it is attainable! Give yourself some time to process things and then GET TO WORK on fixing the now, so that the later can be just as fruitful as you imagined. You can do it! Use your pathos to push you forward! Tell us what you think! How has your journey been? Haven't gotten started? Let us know what's on your mind! If we can help in other ways, please check out our client-tailored services! Sustainability. Procurement. Cutbacks. However you phrase it, it simply means to decrease expenses (which should maximize revenue/profit, business, and results). Such an action can be a simple or intricate process, depending on the industry and line of work that a company operates in. Sometimes, cutting costs can resort to major changes in the organization (i.e. staffing shortages, quality of the product/service offered, strained budget cuts, decreased staff benefits/amenities, etc. You need an effective and efficient implementation strategy in which all involved parties are committed to achieving the desired results. To further cut costs when managing this stage of a change effort, it's recommended to NOT outsource to third parties for assistance, unless the company budget permits it. Be patience with this process; because cutting costs and seeing the results may not always serve as a short term maneuver or the company made be subject to unforeseen roadblocks and restraining forces that could delay the process. Remain susceptible and responsive to change! That is critical to this process. ..Do you agree? Let us know what you think in the comments below! (Originally posted on PDG blog 5.3.16)

Fortunately, this is a loaded question. As a literary device, pathos represents passion and emotion. Pathos appeals to the emotions and values of an audience/listener and elicits feelings that already reside in them. It's also a communication technique that can be used in rhetoric, film and other narrative art. Outside of literary context, pathos can be defined as a quality that evokes pity or sadness- designed to draw listeners in and connect them to the current topic of discussion. For us, we dove deeper into the 2 concepts. Pathos is a movement, a lifestyle- where you can FEEL the way you live, express yourself unapologetically, and activate your true authenticity. Pathos is a change agent for individuality, creativity, and emotional discovery/healing/release/expansion. Leaving your emotions at the door is over with. The Berlin Wall built around your feelings is torn down. The need for surviving off of the satisfaction, acceptance, and approval of others dissipates. Pathos is about being happy with all of who you are, no matter what- and the freedom of choosing how to deal with what life throws at you on YOUR terms. Most people, whether they admit it or not, are socially wound up and commit themselves to conforming to the pressure of their peers and current trends. Here at PDG, YOU are the trend. There's room for everyone to be great. There isn't any omnipotent rule that people should follow in order to feel proud of themselves and be passionate in the pursuit of what sets their soul on fire. That's what pathos is. ..Join the movement! (Originally posted on PDG blog 3.1.20)
